WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Did you know that one of the leading causes for death and injury for sea lions is gun shot wounds? I didn’t and when I found out, I was horrified. Pollution is also a leading cause of death and illness for these outgoing ocean animals. As the saying goes: “Give a hoot, don’t pollute.” When you go to the beach, clean up after yourself and maybe even be so kind as to pick up some trash or recycling left behind by others. This would help keep the ocean clean and make it more livable for marine mammals and land mammals like us worldwide.
